WHO ARE THE CRIA?
The CRIA was formed at the turn of the nineteenth century, and for over two hundred years has been a secretive organisation for the very best young readers. In its illustrious history, many great authors have been agents of the CRIA. They all observed the basic rules of being an agent: Love Books. Love Reading. Love Sharing. Following these principles, the agency has thrived, and for successful agents of the CRIA, the task remains the same today as it has for the last two centuries: find the best children’s books and make sure everyone gets a chance to read them.
WHAT DO THEY DO?
Today, the CRIA has gone online to recruit the next generation of Book Spies, who can show they have the dedication and skills to identify the children’s greatest literature and share it with everyone. If you think you could be an agent of CRIA, apply online and take the basic training. If you can work your way through the various missions, you will become a full agent, and then will be invited to share your recommendations through our reading list and online reviews.
